1926 Lagonda 14/60 Tourer

This 1926 Lagonda 14/60 Tourer is extremely correct and particularly original.  First registered on 11th January 1927, it is finished in brown/black, it retains the original brown leather interior trim. The weather equipment is complete and in good serviceable condition and a rear passenger Auster screen in fitted - allowing rear passengers protection from excessive wind buffeting. The car drives very well with ample power and is ideal for longer distance events and touring. The two litre engine featured the famous hemispherical cylinder head with twin high camshafts giving brisk performance. The car comes with much documentation including the original driver's instruction book and much history including many previous MOT certificates, correspondence from the Lagonda Club and an old buff RS60 Log Book dating back to 1954. The car retains its original Surrey registration number and the plaque of the supplying garage is still affixed to the dashboard. In delightfully mellowed condition this charming vintage tourer has considerable character. A current MOT certificate valid until June 2012 is also provided. There are also some lovely old photographs taken of the car around 50 years ago.
