1930 Humber 16/50 Saloon
This 1930 Humber 16/50 Saloon is a superb example of this high quality vintage motor car, having been the subject of a meticulous 'body-off'
restoration during the 1980s. Tastefully finished in Maroon and Black, the paint finish is first class and the original deep red leather upholstery remains in exceptional condition - both supple and comfortable. The 'D'
backed saloon coachwork is particularly elegant and well proportioned and the car has considerable presence on the road. The 2.1 litre, 6 cylinder engine delivers extremely smooth performance with ample power making the car a delight to drive, especially on long journeys. Being a 1930 model, it still retains some of the vintage features including the right hand gear change. Flashing indicators have been discreetly fitted making for safety in modern traffic conditions and the car has a luggage carrier to carry that F&M hamper or period suitcases.
A file of information is supplied which includes a copy of a photograph of the car taken in 1950 and a feature in a local newspaper dating back to 1958 when the car was still in the hands of its original owner. It also has Humber Register information included. Current MOT is supplied.
