1932 Riley Monaco

This 1932 Riley Monaco was first registered October 1932. (Original Newcastle registration number) Less than 1000 miles covered since a very long and extensive renovation/rebuild.  Engine overhaul included new Omega pistons, new timing gears, oil pump and new main bearings. Crankshaft crack tested and found to be sound. Dynamo & cut out rebuilt, new starter ring gear. Rewired. Cylinder head overhaul - new valves & guides and springs.
Hardened exhaust valve seats. Clutch overhaul inc. Springs and thrust bearing. Full brake overhaul inc. new cables. Front axle overhaul and re-tempered springs all round. Spring bushes replaced. Wheels rebuilt by Motor Wheel Services. Roof covering renewed and headlining replaced. New carpets, front seats re-upholstered ......plus lots more.

There are several photos showing the car in the early 1960's - it was with the previous owner for over 40 years.
Old buff logbook dates back to 1963. Current MOT until 16th August 2012.
Many bills supplied plus maintenance manual.
