1933 Riley 9 Lynx
The 1933 Riley 9 Lynx is without doubt one of the prettiest of all the open Riley 9's, the two door model with disappearing hood, was only built for one season - October 1932 to October 1933. This example was first registered in January 1933 and is one of the earliest survivors. Supplied new by Lewes Motors in Sussex, it retains its original registration number. Restored over 15 year period from the mid-70s, it benefited from an engine rebuild and the radiator has been recently re-cored, and the dynamo rebuilt plus much additional work. Comes with Buff log book dating back to 1949 plus Green continuation log book and much history. Since 1976 it would appear to have covered less than 8,500 miles. An older restoration, it would benefit from some cosmetic improvement to the paintwork. Mechanically, the car is in very good order and drives extremely well, feeling taut and responsive.
It has full weather equipment including a tonneau cover.
