1935 Austin 10/4 Open Road 4 Seat Tourer  

The 'Open Road' designation was applied to all four seat Austin Tourers from the beginning of the 1930s, one of the most popular of the tourers was the 10/4. Finished in Blue/Black with matching blue interior trim, it has excellent weather equipment including a hood bag. First registered in Surrey and retaining its original registration number, this car has been known to us for many years, having passed through our hands twice previously - the last time some 22 years ago. It was the previously owned by a former Austin Ten Drivers Club Secretary and was a regular sight in the Guildford area.
During the past year much mechanical work has been undertaken and the car is offered for sale in good running order. It is surprisingly spacious with ample accommodation for four plus luggage. As with all Austin Ten's spares availability is very good as is the support from the ADTC. These cars are also surprisingly practical as well as being extremely reliable. Ready to enjoy this summer. The documentation includes an old RF60 Buff Log Book dating back to 1958.
