1935 Singer 9 Le Mans Airline Coupe 

This Singer 9 Le Mans Airline Coupe has just returned from Ireland having resided there for the past two years. It is an extremely rare and striking motor car and is being offered for sale due to bereavement.

The subject of meticulous restoration carried out during the 1990’s, the car remains in excellent condition in all respects. The history is known from new and extensive documentation is provided, including numerous bills, along with photos of the restoration in progress. In its livery of Forest Green over cream, with green leather trim, it is most appealing and quite charming, with its rakish lines.

The Singer Nine Sports models were arch rivals to the MG Midget in the 1933 – 36 period and, like the Abingdon products, also boasted lively overhead cam engines which made them much favoured for sporting trials and other forms of competition. Being VSCC eligible, it is sure to create considerable interest at any event.
