1936 Austin 10/4 Colwyn Cabriolet
This 1936 Austin 10/4 Colwyn Cabriolet was sympathetically restored some years ago and remains in extremely smart order. Much money has been spent whilst in the current ownership on maintaining the car and it has been used and enjoyed on a number of events. It is correctly finished in the traditional Austin colours of maroon and black and has excellent leather trim.
A large file of documentation is provided including photographs and numerous bills along with original drivers handbook and spares list. The car is currently MOT'd until 15th August 2011 and runs very sweetly. It also retains its original Surrey registration number.
The cabriolet version of the Austin 10/4 was a versatile model with its three position hood which offered the amenities of a closed car, half way 'coupe de ville' position or fully open offering the advantages of a tourer but considerably less draughty!
