The car was discovered in very poor condition in a barn in the late 1980's and was beyond viable restoration to its original form. A decision was taken to restore it with new coachwork, with the style being influenced by the
graceful Lynx Tourer model of 1935 - 38.

Much of this work was undertaken by coachbuilders Wilkinsons of Derby. The extensive restoration was understood to have been completed around 12 years ago. The car has been enjoyed by its owner and has been used on a
number of rallies and events, including a trip to France and has proved very reliable.

Full weather equipment is provided, which all fits very well, ensuring this Riley is extremely useable all year round. It drives very well with the preselector gearbox making for effortless motoring.

A large amount of paperwork comes with the car, including a report from marque specialist, Blue Diamond Services. Copies of photographs showing the rebuild in progress are also on file.

An interesting Riley with good provenance, it is of very smart appearance all round.
