1949 MG TC
According to MGCC T Register records, this TC is a late model having been built on the 15th October 1949. Apparently it was exported to Malaya where it remained until it returned to the UK in 1959. The car clearly underwent major rennovation some years ago and has, in recent times, been the subject of continual improvement and has been very carefully maintained - with a recent bill of over £3,000 from a well known MG specialist. The gearbox was also reconditioned last year and higher ratio differential fitted (4.875:1).
A Lucas-Laystall aluminium cylinder head is fitted and the car really does drive extremely well. Finished in Black with green leather trim, as original, it has bills dating back to the 1960s from virtually every major MG specialist and has the original instruction manual and Log books dating back to 1959 when the car was first registered in the UK. It also has the original guarantee certificate from the Works. In summary, a very well sorted TC that will really appeal to the enthusiastic driver.
