With just 608 built between 1948 and 1953, and costing an eyewatering £2,560 (virtually twice the price of a suburban semi at the time), exclusivity was guaranteed when owning one of these elegant and desirable sporting tourers.

Finished in Black over Maroon, with burgundy trim, this example has just returned from France where it has resided for several years.  Presented with a new MOT certificate it is ready to use. During the last 3 years it has been the subject of considerable expenditure on mechanicals, with work including an overhaul of the preselector gearbox, rebuilding of the carburettors plus much more. It would benefit however, from some cosmetic TLC.
