1952 Bentley Mk V1 'big bore' 4.5 litre
2 door coupe by James Young
A very rare and exceedingly elegant motor car, this James Young bodied Mk V1 Bentley is believed to have been one of only eight built with this style of coachwork with the 'big bore' 4.5 litre engine . Finished in two tone green, with beige hide, the car has recently undergone extensive refurbishment at considerable expense and is superbly presented in all respects. Comes complete with comprehensive documentation, including original service manual and photographs of restoration in progress. The work included a bare metal repaint and coach lining, all bright work re-plated, ash frame refurbished as required, new carpets and interior woodwork refinished plus much more including mechanicals. The only modification has been the discreet fitment of flashing indicators - essential in modern traffic conditions. The car drives superbly and has been reunited with its original registration number. Numerous bills dating back over many years are provided along with sundry correspondence from original owners. A truly fine and desirable Bentley, sure to please the most fastidious connoisseur.
