843 produced. The XK 140 FHC is now rightly recognised to be the most desirable derivative of the XK FHC range as it largely retains the visual appearance of the XK 120 FHC whilst offering a much more user friendly cockpit and driver experience. In all a substantial increase in refinement whilst not exhibiting the middle age spread and relatively austere cockpit of the XK150 FHC

This stunning car has a Jaguar Heritage Certificate confirming all matching numbers, including the special close ratio gearbox, original body and trim colours, registration number etc. Fully professionally restored to the highest standards in the 1990’s. This bare chassis, nut and bolt restoration is photographically and document ally recorded.

Since restoration this car has been carefully used, continually fettled and has been the subject to a number subtle but important upgrades. This work has included low pressure servo assisted front disc brakes and stainless steel wire wheels, High Torque starter motor and electronic ignition.
