1958 Hillman Minx Series II Convertible

This 1958 Hillman Minx Series II Convertible is a rare survivor of a once prolific model.  A car with the 'Minx' designation had been a feature of the Hillman range since 1932.  Finished in the original shade of Seacrest Green with matching interior, this example is remarkably original, and the recorded mileage currently standing at 43,000 is almost certainly correct - judging by the car's overall condition.  It has clearly been well maintained and cherished over the years, never 'restored' as such and has been in the ownership of one family for the past 40 years.  The hood, which has three positions - fully open, coupe de ville and closed, is a replacement item in very good condition and the Ace Mercury Wheel trims are a period accessory.
