1959 Triumph TR3A

During 1957 the TR3 was to undergo several revisions the most notable being the full width radiator grille. Since the introduction of the original TR2 in 1953 these cars had been export winners with the bulk of production going to the USA and the Antipodes.

With their cut away doors, lusty exhaust note and rugged character, the 'sidescreen' TRs epitomised the golden era of the British Sports Car.

This 1959 example is an original home market RHD car, fitted with overdrive. Clearly having been the subject of restoration some years ago the car presents well in Signal Red with recently replaced black interior trim. The hood and tonneau cover are in excellent condition.

Included with the car is a substantial file of bills, Haynes work shop manual.

The registration document shows three former owners in the past 36 years.
