1960 Austin–Healey (Frogeye) Sprite Mk.1
This 1960 Austin–Healey Sprite Mk.1 was in the hands of one family for 45 years and underwent a major restoration during the early 1990’s. After completion, it was stored for some years and has seen minimal use in recent
times. The recorded mileage currently stands at 88295, which may well be
correct, looking back through previous MOT certificates. The car was fitted with a genuine Factory Replacement “Gold Seal” engine, probably during the later 1960’s or early ‘70’s. It is extremely correct in all respects and has recently been recommissioned following the period of storage. The hood is a recent replacement item and the clutch and brakes have also been renewed in the past year and new tyres fitted.
Finished in Cherry Red as original, this delightful example of the much-loved Frogeye Sprite is in excellent order throughout. A large file of bills etc is supplied, along with the original Driver’s Handbook and an MOT Certificate current until September.
