1972 Peugeot 504 Cabriolet

The Cabriolet version of the Peugeot 504, styled by Pininfarina, first appeared in 1969. Both sleek and glamorous, it was favoured by those seeking flair and exclusivity, which naturally came with a hefty price tag.
Very few were ever in the UK, being available only to special order, however, a few have been imported over the years.

This stunning white example was manufactured in 1972 and has been in single family ownership since new, having covered 117000 km/s (c74000 miles) It is now offered due to bereavement, having seen very sparing use over the past few years. Always well cared for and regularly serviced, it has benefited from a new hood recently. It drives very well, feeling brisk and taut on the road.

An MOT certificate valid until May 2012 is included in the large file of paperwork. A comfortable and rare convertible, with accommodation for four, it would prove an ideal family classic. Being LHD, just right for trips and rallies on the Continent.
