1924 Austin Seven Replica Sports Tourer
One of the more unusual Austin Sevens we have had the pleasure of offering.
Originally registered as a Chummy on 3rd March 1924, this delightful Austin Seven was faithfully recreated during the early 1990s by the late John Wilcox, whose attention to originality and period detail is well known amongst Austin Seven enthusiasts.
Built in the style of the desirable early 50 mph Sports Tourer, it incorporates many of the distinctive features that set these charming sporting Austin Sevens apart, including the characteristic tail, raked steering column, lowered dashboard and elegant oyster-shell wings.
The car also benefits from an interesting history, including a First Class Award at the VSCC Loton Park Hill Climb, together with a comprehensive history file and recent mechanical attention, including rebuilt magneto and dynamo.
A rare opportunity to acquire a fascinating and beautifully presented early Austin Seven with genuine character and considerable appeal.
