Imported from Australia and restored to a most exacting standard, this delightful Austin 12/4 Tourer is of 1926 manufacture, with coachwork by Holden. The rugged qualities of the 12/4 ensured it was very popular in the Antipodes with the good ground clearance proving a desirable feature given the poor road conditions.
Correctly finished in blue and black with blue hide interior trim, the car is beautifully presented with a new hood and side curtains in double duck material (a hood bag is also provided).
Two albums of photographs showing the restoration in progress are included along with various items of documentation. The restoration work was completed just four years ago.
The car drives particularly well and is ready for enjoyable Summer touring!
