1927 Vauxhall 14-40 Princeton Tourer

A most appealing example of Vauxhall’s well-regarded 14/40, this 1927 Princeton Tourer has recently arrived with us and is now available for viewing.

The Vauxhall 14/40 has long been popular with enthusiasts, offering a particularly usable introduction to larger vintage motoring, with good road manners, comfortable four-seat accommodation and plenty of period character.

This example is understood to have been restored some years ago and today presents with an attractive, gently matured appearance. The nicely settled leather interior suits the car particularly well and, following Robin’s initial inspection, she starts readily and runs well.

There is also an interesting history associated with the car. We understand that during an earlier period of her life, when finished in red, she was used for a number of film and television appearances. We are currently researching this further and hope to add more detail to her history in due course.

Overall, she is a characterful and appealing vintage tourer, with a nicely matured appearance.

Available for viewing from Tuesday 22nd September onwards, strictly by prior appointment.
