1929 Austin 7 Chummy - Now Sold
Affectionately known as ‘Daisy’, this 1929 Austin Chummy is one of the rarer ‘AD’ Series models. In very good fettle all round, the engine was rebuilt some years ago and has a balanced crankshaft and the advantage of an SU carburettor, which ensures easy starting and lively running.
The weather equipment is in very sound and serviceable condition and in all, this is a very useable and smart example of the highly popular ‘baby’ Austin.
With spares available from many sources, an Austin Seven is an ideal car if one is new to Vintage motoring, being remarkably economical and simple to maintain.
Many bills are supplied on file, along with a Driver’s Handbook and old RF60 logbook, attesting to the original Surrey issue registration number.
Eligible for VSCC Light Car events (VSCC Buff form included), as well as numerous A7 Club runs etc, Daisy is sure to give her next custodian lots of enjoyment!
