1935 Austin 10/4 Clifton Two Seat Tourer with Dickey - Now Sold
Arguably the prettiest model of the Austin 10/4 range, the 2 Seater tourer with Dickey seat, from late 1934, was to use the old 'Clifton' title, which had previously related to the Heavy 12/4 5 seat tourer of the 1920s.
This example of the ever popular 10/4 is in very good order having recently undergone extensive restoration, this being photographically documented in a very well presented album. The grey leather interior trim has recently been renewed along with carpets and the car presents particularly well. Much of the bright work has recently been replated and the car drives very well, pulling willingly in the manner for which the 10/4 was always noted.
With the support of the enthusiastic Austin 10 Drivers Club, spares present no problem, making ownership highly enjoyable.
Along with the aforementioned album of restoration photographs comes a file of documents, receipts etc.
The car retains the original Kent registration number.
