A stylish and well equipped 5 seater saloon, it was available with the popular 1.5 litre four cylinder engine, or the 15hp 6 cylinder unit.

This example, first registered in September 1937 in London. It passed into the hands of its second owner within a couple of years and was to remain in this family’s ownership for some 60 years, until being acquired by the vendor in 1999. At this time, despite having been off the road for some time and covering only 61,000 miles, the car was in need of restorati9on and this was to commence around 2003, being completed and back on the road in 2007.

The car was repainted in a shade of grey very close to the original and the front seats were retrimmed. The carpets and headlining were also renewed and the engine and gearbox rebuilt by Riley specialist, Blue Diamond Services.

Much additional work was also carried out.

The car has now covered a total of 65,000 miles and is in extremely good condition throughout. It drives smoothly and quietly as befits one of these refined cars.

An album of photos showing the restoration in progress is supplied, along with the original Instruction Manual and a considerable number of bills etc.

A buff RF60 logbook is also included and the car retains its original London registration number.

In all, a fine example of what is now quite a rare Riley.
