During the 1930’s the Standard Motor Company produced an extensive range of motor cars, but probably the best remembered are the ‘Flying’ Series, with their up- to- the minute, distinctive styling.
Offered here is a 1938 Flying Twelve Drophead Coupe, attractively finished in cream and black.
The interior trim is in tan hide, this having been renewed fairly recently and the quality lined hood is in good condition, making the car as snug as a saloon in bad weather.
With the handsome Art Deco ‘waterfall’ radiator grille, these cars epitomised their era.
In good order both bodily and mechanically, this is a rare motor car that is bound to attract much interest wherever it is seen.
A large file of paperwork accompanies the car, including maintenance notes and technical details, as well as an original sales brochure.
