1954 MG TF - Now Sold
Always a highly regarded model and acknowledged as the last ‘traditional’ MG, the TF series was produced for just two years – 1953 – 55.
This delightful red example left the factory in April 1954, destined, as with the bulk of production, for North America, where it was to reside until being re-imported to the UK during 1989.
The subject of considerable restoration around this time, the car remains in very good order having been maintained by a well respected MG specialist for the past 15 years.
In the current ownership since 2008, recent work has included new front shock absorbers, brake master cylinder and rear wheel cylinders, new clutch, rebuild of the carburettors and much more.
The weather equipment is all in good, serviceable condition and the tonneau cover is a very recent replacement.
The car has been displayed at the GRRC annual vehicle display at Goodwood House and has participated in a number of MGCC events and runs in recent years.
Fitted with wire wheels, luggage rack and wind deflectors, this is a well cared for TF that is certain to provide much enjoyment to its next lucky owner.
Many bills are included on file, along with a Heritage Sheet and details of previous owners.
