Very much the choice of the enthusiastic motorist in its day, the Sunbeam Rapier gained an enviable reputation in rallying and saloon car racing in the heady days of the 1960s.
This particular example is undoubtedly one of the finest available having been the subject of an exacting, bare shell restoration, costing in excess of £30,000, the work being completed some four years ago.
A photograph album is supplied detailing every stage of the restoration together with a substantial file of receipts, service invoices, and history dating back to the car's first 500 mile service.
The car is finished in metallic gunmetal grey and black and has the optional overdrive gearbox.
