First registered in July 1966, this particularly attractive MGB Roadster is correctly finished in Tartan Red and presents beautifully, having undergone a comprehensive restoration to an exceptional standard.

During the current ownership, the car has continued to benefit from considerable expenditure and careful maintenance. The engine has been rebuilt and a replacement clutch fitted, while a brake servo has been added to make the car particularly pleasant to use in modern traffic. A five-speed gearbox is also fitted, making for more relaxed longer-distance and motorway driving.

Most recently, the MGB has been fitted with five new chrome wire wheels and new tyres, which complement the Tartan Red coachwork particularly well. The high-quality hood is also a recent replacement and remains in excellent condition.

Importantly, the restoration is fully documented in a photographic record, accompanied by the original invoices, providing an excellent account of the work undertaken.

Reluctantly offered for sale due to the owner’s advancing years, this is a beautifully presented and thoughtfully upgraded MGB Roadster which is ready to be enjoyed. It is an example that should please even the most fastidious enthusiast.
