There can be little doubt that the MGB GT is one of the most versatile and practical of all classic MG models with excellent luggage carrying capacity and attractive styling it is easy to see why this model is universally loved.
This exceptional example, which was first registered on the 29th May 1968 is understood to have had just 5 previous owners. Rebuilt with a heritage bodyshell several years ago, this MG benefits from a five-speed gear box conversion by Hi-Gear Engineering Limited and was fitted with a replacement Ivor Searle engine just 6,000 miles ago.
Bristling with extras which include a Moto-Lita steering wheel, 12-volt power point for satnav etc, 4 speaker radio/cd player, parabolic springs and new dampers, intermittent screen wipe, electric fan and electronic ignition. Finished in the correct shade of British Racing Green with black leather reclining seats. All tyres have recently been replaced and the car sits on correct silver painted wire wheels.
Professionally maintained over the years, there are service bills dating back almost 50 years. The original green log-book is also included and in all, this delightful MGB GT is sure to please the most fastidious enthusiast.
