Another interesting new consignment arriving soon at The Garage🏁

1979 Bristol 412 S2 Convertible

This hand built Bristol 412 S2 Convertible 4 seater was registered in June 1980.  Finished in Pegasus Blue with new red hide upholstery.

Styled by Carrozzeria Zagato, it came on stream in 1975/6 with its removable ‘Targa’ roof.

Making a clean break from the traditional Bristol look whilst retaining its predecessors chassis, the Series 2, introduced in 1978, used the well-tried Chrysler 5.9 engine (360 cu in) and ‘TorqueFlyte’  transmission.

This impressive and rare vehicle may be used as a closed fast tourer with the option of removing the ‘Targa’ top only (which can be kept in the very spacious boot) or lowering the rear roof making it a full cabriolet. The Targa top also has a sunroof built in giving a light and airy interior.

Bristol features such as the hand formed aluminium panels and compartments which hold the spare wheel in the near side and battery in the offside as well as other Bristol details make for an interesting and unusual vehicle to own.

Full details, photographs and a video will be updated as soon as she arrives with us.
